📃General information:

As the capital city of the Philippines, Manila is the centre of the country's economic, political, social, and cultural activity. It is located on the island of Luzon and spreads along the eastern shore of Manila Bay at the mouth of the Pasig River.

Manila has good sunlight conditions. The annual average standard sunlight time is more than 5 hours/day.

💪Challenge:

Manila’s hot weather leads to a high demand for air conditioning and refrigeration.

However, the local electricity rate is pretty high which is around￥2/kWh. The customer’s electricity bill can go as high as￥75,000/year.

In addition, the photovoltaic power generation is not allowed to be connected to the grid.

Therefore, it’s a good opportunity to use photovoltaic energy storage system to generate and store the green power to save the cost.

Through the mobile app, the customer can monitor data remotely.

During the day, photovoltaic power generation supply for household loads, and excess power will be stored in the battery.

At night, the power stored in the battery will be consumed first. The insufficient part will be supplied by the grid.

The customer is very satisfied with our plan and solution. The system runs smoothly and it has help them to save around 500 euros per month. It’s expected to generate more than 33000kwh per year.
